Privacy Policy (Google Calendar booking)

Last updated: February 15, 2026

This page explains how this website uses Google Calendar API when you book a meeting slot.

What happens when you book

When you select a slot and confirm your details, the server checks that the slot is still available and then creates a calendar event in the organizer's Google Calendar using Google Calendar API. Google Meet conferencing is requested for that event.

  • Start/end time: from the selected slot.
  • Attendees: your email is added as an attendee.
  • Google Meet: the event includes a Google Meet link created by Google.
  • Email notifications: Google Calendar sends the invitation emails to attendees ("sendUpdates=all").

Data we collect

  • Your name (as entered in the form).
  • Your email (to add you as an attendee).
  • Your Telegram handle (optional contact field used by the organizer).
  • The selected time slot (start/end time).

Data stored on the server

The booking is stored in the website database to prevent double-booking and to help the organizer manage the schedule. For Google Calendar integration we may also store:

  • Google Calendar event id.
  • Google Meet link (or event link).

Google API access

The organizer connects their Google account via OAuth. The server requests the minimum scope required to create events: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.

The OAuth refresh token is stored on the server (in the website database configuration) so the server can create events on behalf of the organizer.

How to revoke access

The organizer can revoke the app's access at any time in their Google Account settings (Security → Third-party access), which will prevent future event creation via this website.
